Individuals must demonstrate the ability to support several engineers providing a wide variety of administrative and computer skills to assist engineering projects. Assignments typically include:Preliminary document formatting and preparation utilizing computing resources with a variety of applicationsPerforms as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution during the artifact pre-release phaseSupport to the release and revision phases of the engineering development cyclePerforms project non-technical dutiesServes as process and tool expert for engineering design teamsMust possess ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skillsWhat You Will DoEdits format of software/systems documentation. Verifies change requests are in the proper state and implemented into documentation. Performs data conversion using various application media for software development or project file maintenanceProvides tools expertise and support to Engineering: MS Office Apps requirements capture databases change management and tracking tools. Generate reports as requiredInterfaces with engineers and engineering managers to create/edit documentationEnsures compliance with the Third-Party Intellectual Property processCollects metrics and supports the preparation of presentation materials for analysisWorks with Engineering to train on processes and tools. Identifies opportunities for continuous process improvementsAssists in tracking action items and tasks in the change management processSupports Agile PI/Sprint/Planning EventsAssists with Risks and Opportunity reviewsActs as primary focal and liaison for program support across engineering and other departmentsNetworks with both internal and external personnel at multiple levelsGenerally works on assignments which are given by the engineering teamsWorks with engineering teams to effectively resolve issuesPotential Additional Job Responsibilities:Edits format of required documentationPrepare presentationsCoordinates the interaction of project/program team and support functions to communicate schedule and statusOften facilitates internal and/or external meetingsReleases software and/or documentsAssists with tracking of Change OrdersParticipates in status meetingsQualifications You Must HaveTypically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
