Topics included but were not limited to microcontrollers, embedded systems, process control and instrumentation, fundamentals of electricity and electronics, motors and controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, networking, HMI, and PLC.The ideal candidate should also be familiar with the latest trends in this field and capable of teaching design and repairing of automated systems.This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments in Engineering Technology. Courses such as drafting, statics, MatLab are not part of the program.Primary Purpose:PRIMARY PURPOSEDuties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. See our website here for information regarding evaluation of foreign degrees.Minimum Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s in any field of engineeringORBachelor’s in any of the aboveANDMaster’s in mathematics, physics, computer science, chemistry or geologyOR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education, training, employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee.Commitment to diversity.
