JOB DESCRIPTION
AE Institute is seeking a motivated, student-focused Enrollment Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students exploring career training and professional development opportunities.
The Enrollment Advisor is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, advising, and enrolling qualified students into AE Institute programs. This individual will guide prospective students through the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment while helping them identify educational and career goals aligned with their interests and aspirations.
Success in this role requires strong relationship-building skills, consultative communication, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping individuals transform their lives through education and workforce training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Student Recruitment & Enrollment
• Respond promptly to inquiries generated through website submissions, marketing campaigns, referrals, community outreach, and recruitment initiatives.
• Conduct admissions interviews to assess prospective students' educational backgrounds, career objectives, interests, and readiness for enrollment.
• Present program information, career pathways, tuition costs, schedules, and support services accurately and professionally.
• Guide students through the enrollment process from inquiry through program start.
• Assist applicants with completing admissions documentation and enrollment requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospective students through phone, email, text messaging, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments.
• Accurately document all student interactions and admissions activities within the institution's CRM and student management systems.
• Meet established enrollment, appointment, and student engagement goals.
Student Advising & Success
• Build meaningful relationships with students and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the admissions process.
• Help prospective students identify programs that align with their career and professional goals.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a seamless student experience.
• Assist students in overcoming barriers to enrollment and connecting with available support resources.
• Maintain engagement with students through program start and onboarding.
Community Outreach & Relationship Building
• Represent AE Institute at career fairs, workforce development events, information sessions, community organizations, and networking opportunities.
• Develop relationships with community partners, employers, workforce agencies, and referral sources.
• Support recruitment events, open houses, workshops, and campus initiatives.
• Promote awareness of AE Institute's educational programs and career training opportunities within the community.
Compliance & Professional Standards
• Adhere to all institutional policies and ethical admissions practices.
• Ensure all admissions activities are conducted with integrity, transparency, and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Team Collaboration
• Work closely with academic leadership, student services, career services, and administrative departments.
• Participate in team meetings and enrollment strategy discussions.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve student recruitment, enrollment processes, and student outcomes.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Work Environment
• Primarily on-site position.
• Frequent interaction with prospective students, current students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
• Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required to support recruitment events and enrollment initiatives.

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, student services, recruiting, sales, customer service, workforce development, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
• Commitment to providing exceptional student service.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in career training, workforce development, vocational education, adult education, or higher education.
• Experience working with adult learners, career changers, and diverse student populations.
• Experience conducting presentations, workshops, or community outreach activities.
• Knowledge of enrollment management and student retention practices.
