Job Title: Enterprise Application Lead Engineer Location: Springfield Massachusetts Experience Required: 12 Years Employment Type: Contract Interview Type: In-Person or Webcam Job Description We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Lead Engineer to oversee the design development integration and support of enterprise-level business applications. This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and hands-on experience working across complex systems application modernization initiatives and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will guide architecture decisions lead development efforts and ensure enterprise platforms meet performance security and scalability standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design development and implementation of enterprise applications and integrated systems. Collaborate with business stakeholders architects developers and vendors to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Oversee system integrations application deployment upgrades and performance improvements. Provide leadership and mentorship to development teams while establishing best practices and coding standards. Evaluate new technologies tools frameworks and application modernization opportunities. Manage Enterprise Application lifecycle including planning design development testing deployment and support. Ensure security compliance and quality assurance across all application implementations. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide long-term resolution strategies. Prepare technical documentation architectural diagrams and status reports. Coordinate with project managers to define timelines resource plans and deliverables. Required Skills and Qualifications 12 years of experience in enterprise application engineering development and solution delivery. Strong expertise with enterprise software platforms and application integration methodologies. Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise technology stacks such Java Salesforce SAP Oracle Workday ServiceNow or similar. Knowledge of APIs web services (REST/SOAP) middleware ESB microservices and integration tools. Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud. Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases data modeling and SQL. Proven ability to lead technical teams mentor engineers and drive high-impact solutions. Excellent problem-solving analytical thinking communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Agile and DevOps environments along with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
