Job Title: Enterprise Data Specialist Lead Engineer Location: Stamford CT Experience: 12 Years Employment Type: Contract Interview Type: In-Person or Webcam Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Specialist Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale data environments ensuring data integrity and enabling enterprise-level data solutions. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing implementing and optimizing enterprise data systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design development and implementation of enterprise data solutions including data warehouses data lakes and data pipelines. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure data governance quality security and compliance standards are met across all enterprise data initiatives. Develop and enforce data management best practices including metadata management master data management (MDM) and data lifecycle management. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and analysts. Optimize and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes database performance and data integration workflows. Work closely with IT analytics and business teams to support reporting analytics and AI/ML initiatives. Stay updated with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems. Drive enterprise data strategy and participate in technology roadmap planning.Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field. 12 years of experience in data engineering data architecture or enterprise data management. Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases data modeling and data warehousing concepts. Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g. Informatica Talend DataStage Apache Nifi). Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python Shell or Java). Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform). Solid understanding of data governance security and compliance requirements. Proven experience leading technical teams and managing enterprise-scale projects. Preferred Skills: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka. Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau Power BI or Looker. Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines and analytics frameworks. Experience with master data management (MDM) and data quality tools.
