Job Title : Enterprise IT Program Architect (IBM Mainframe Java/.NET Government Taxation) Location: Albany NY (Hybrid) We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications Qualifications: Proven leadership experience managing IT teams of 25 personnel directing complex technical initiatives and ensuring successful project delivery. Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect (or equivalent role) with responsibilities spanning SDLC oversight IT service management and application infrastructure design. Demonstrated success managing large-scale IT programs including enterprise-wide system implementations with strong expertise in application architecture and development using and COBOL. Hands-on software development experience with COBOL Java technologies. Strong background in project coordination particularly in guiding technical and common services teams on major initiatives within state or government financial entities. Proficient with IBM technologies including WebSphere Application Server (WAS) COBOL IBM DB2 IBM MQSeries JCL and IBM DataStage. Experienced in leading Continuity of Operations (COOP) and disaster recovery initiatives in mission-critical large-scale IT environments. Direct experience working within a government taxation organization involving business process understanding technical design development maintenance and end-user support for complex tax return processing systems.
