Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual who is excited to work with students and faculty to foster entrepreneurship and innovation (E&I) across campus. The coordinator will report to the Director of the Petrick Idea Center and work collaboratively with other internal and external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional who enjoys building programs, solving problems, and helping students turn ideas into action. This is a specially funded full-time, 12 month, on-campus position; ongoing renewal of position is contingent upon funding. Responsibilities: Entrepreneurship Events; plan and execute Titan New Venture Challenge & Get Funded events; organize pre-event workshops and skill development programming; plan and execute immersion E&I field trip Campus Programming; plan and execute bimonthly student workshops on E&I for current students; develop and coordinate mentoring program for student-entrepreneurs; support student-led entrepreneurial programs on campus; support programming in our curricular efforts (major/minor) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC); handle planning and logistics for guest speaker series in E&I Coordinating with Strategic Partners; handle logistics & planning for advisory committees; build alumni fellows program to support student entrepreneurs (working with Advancement); liaison with internal partners; communications and logistics with high school programming Communications; coordinate an E&I podcast, plan extensive social media coverage of E&I activities across various platforms; author quarterly reports on progress to donors & advisory councils; work with University marketing and communications office to plan and execute media coverage of events Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required Application Information: Please download the application at www.iwu.edu/human-resources/job-openings/.
