Billing Analyst

We are seeking a dedicated Billing Analyst to join our team. This role involves supporting the billing systems and processes while ensuring accurate and timely billing adjustments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting procedures and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide input into the ongoing development and support of billing systems, processes, and policies.
• Reconcile orders for gas to match bills of lading and match invoice sets to stores.
• Reconcile amounts billed to stores with amounts paid by stores.
• Resolve and track billing issues as they arise, working with fuel and accounting support teams to address root cause problems.
• Process billing adjustments timely and accurately for fuel accounts, ensuring proper levels of authorization and documentation are in place.
• Conduct invoicing review and variance analysis with required sign-off.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in bank reconciliation, credit card transactions, and expense allocations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Understanding of accounting procedures, concepts, and internal control processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment:

Join a vibrant billing team on the fuel side, consisting of around 12 members. The role involves a high level of communication with field managers, making excellent communication skills crucial. You will be part of a dynamic team where invoices are received through multiple channels, involving various teams in the processing.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
