OverviewThis Assistant Professor (Human Nutrition and Public Health) position is located in Logan Utah which is situated in a spectacular Rocky Mountain valley approximately one and one-half hour drive north of Salt Lake City.ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidate for this position will teach a full range of college courses in Human Nutrition and Public Health; perform service for the department college and university; mentor students inside and outside regular teaching hours; and maintain an active profile as a researcher in Nutrition and Public Health studies.QualificationsCandidates must have: Doctorate in human nutrition dietetics public health or closely related field; Doctorate in human nutrition dietetics public health or closely related field; evidence of published and/or externally funded research in the areas of human nutrition and/or public health; evidence of commitment to teaching advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students; ability to obtain Master of Public Health (MPH) and/or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential within the first year of hire. Required skills and publication/presentation requirements may be earned during advanced educational studies.
