DescriptionThe Client Service Associate is responsible for working with the Lead Advisor to serve wealth management clients. The Client Service Associate would be relied upon to execute operational tasks build a rapport with the clients and Lead Advisor and develop into an advisor within 3-5 years.Major ResponsibilitiesBecome proficient in executing tasks (trades disbursements account onboarding account maintenance etc.) with our custodian Charles Schwab on behalf of our clientsComplete 100% of action items related to client in a timely mannerPrepare and update Financial PlansReview and summarize Estate PlansPrepare client portfolio review meeting documentsAttend client meetings with the Lead AdvisorDocument meeting notes and work with Lead Advisor execute tasks driven from the client meetingsBuild relationships with clients and RubinBrown team membersMaintain current client information in all existing databasesPreferred Experience/Background/SkillsBachelors or Masters in Finance Business Administration Accounting or related field2 or more years of work experience in the financial services industryDesire to pass the CFP within 2-3 years of hireStrong organization planning scheduling and problem-solving skillsPassion to serve clients and support a team of investment professionalsInitiative detail oriented follow throughExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels internally and externallyStrong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Powerpoint)Proficient internet skillsAbility to handle routine tasks with minimal supervisionAbility to support multiple team members and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work effectively in deadline situationsHighly motivated energetic and resourcefulAble to work independently as well as with a teamAbility to work in excess of normal work hours when necessaryWorking ConditionsThe typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Travel for this position will be minimalAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to move throughout officeAbility to speak English to communicate with clients and team membersOne FirmTo foster a highly respected inclusive culture that helps foster and promote an environment that is diverse and equitable for all team members and the firm to achieve growth and deepened expertise.
