We are seeking applicants for an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Civil and Commercial Space (CVS) division.The Civil & Commercial Space Division is at the forefront of scientific research and space exploration. Be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of whats possible in space and contributes to monumental scientific discoveries.Key Responsibilities: Operates and automates test and measurement equipmentDesigns develops and troubleshoots new or existing test scriptsInterfaces with program team members as requiredCoordinates the efforts of technical support personnel PCB Layout Designers Technical Writers and Electrical Technicians as requiredCompiles and evaluates design and test data and prepares technical specificationsAnalyzes develops and recommends design approaches to meet program requirementsDesigns develops modifies and evaluates electrical circuits and systemsRequired Qualifications: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security ClearanceBachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering and 0-3 years of relevant experienceExperience in a lab testing environmentKnowledge of Python and object-oriented practicesAbility to work effectively both individually and within a team environmentAwareness of laboratory personnel and hardware safety protocol and proceduresDemonstrated strong work ethic integrity communication skills and curiosityGeneral and varied awareness of technological and scientific conceptsProficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)Effective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Basic FPGA switched-mode power supply RF and other electronic hardware knowledgeOperation and automation of test and measurement equipmentRF analyzers signal generators function generators and power metersPower supplies DC loads oscilloscopes and digital voltage metersTest interface and data protocols (VISA Ethernet SPI SpaceWire etc.)Comfortable in Linux-based operating systems*Salary Range$67500 - $82000Salary commensurate based on education and experienceThis range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role level location market conditions and individual qualifications including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
