Entry Level WaterWastewater or Environmental Engineer at AECOM

AECOM Water is seeking an Environmental or Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Austin TX office. The qualified applicant will have familiarity and/or exposure to water/wastewater engineering and construction management this role youll have the opportunity to to support the design construction and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:Performs portions of assigned water and wastewater biologic treatment infrastructure related projectsGathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined proceduresWorks on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations preparation of technical memorandum preparation of contract documents such as specifications and drawingsProposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignmentsQualifications : Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications:Masters degree in Environmental or Civil EngineeringTexas EIT2 Years of Treatment design experienceStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teamsFlexible can adapt to shifting priorities / work schedulesProficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Project)Participate as member of professional and technical societiesAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
