From environmental planning permitting remediation and site characterization to chemical data management and hydrogeology Kleinfelder offers a variety of services designed to provide technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions.Step into Your New RoleAs an entry-level Geologist you will work on environmental assessment and remediation projects geotechnical engineering projects and work in our soils and materials laboratory using your knowledge and professional guidelines and protocols to accomplish goals and objectives and learn to solve problems of diverse scope.This position is available in Irving TexasResponsibilities:Assist with a variety of field assignments including groundwater sampling soil sampling and laboratory testing.Perform field oversight of subcontractors once trained.Prepare technical reports and evaluate site data to progress projects toward regulatory closure.Establish strong productive internal collaborative relationships with senior-level staff.Participate in Kleinfelders safety culture.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in environmental science geology or related engineering degree0-2 years experience in the environmental field working on a large complex environmental assessment / remediation site or other related field work.Ability to work on various task depending on skill setsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical judgement and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Office experience related to scheduling lab coordination data evaluation technical report writing and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).Preferred Skills:Soil and rock classification/characterizationField soil and rock logging experienceKnowledge of TCEQ regulations and guidance documents.Knowledge of RCRA & CERCLA regulations and HAZMAT assessments.GIS experience.Move Forward with Kleinfelder:Kleinfelder and its subsidiaries and affiliates has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
