Entry-Level QC Chemistry Scientist (Weekends) at Eurofins

This an entry-level role is onsite in Sanford NC.POSTION RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage own time and Prioritize own workflow.Responsible for maintaining laboratory compliance.Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing (Appearance pH Conductivity Concentration etc)Interpret and evaluate data in terms of accuracy precision trends and potential Good Manufacturing Practices also cGMP impact and recommends appropriate corrective action where necessary.Aid as necessary to maintain the function of the QC lab to include ordering materials inventory general housekeeping and other duties as necessaryOperate in high regard integrity and efficiency to generate accurate and quality results with a customer focused mind-setUtilize laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance to established procedures to include but not limited to appearance hoods pH meters conductivity meters Solo VPE Osmometers etc.Qualifications : BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors Degree in a related field (Chemistry Biochemistry Pharmaceuticals etc.)At least 6 Months experience in a QC LaboratorySuccessful hands-on analytical testing experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices also cGMP environmentTechnical Skills- Knowledge of laboratory equipment testing and techniqueBasic math skills and computer skills such as data entry along with a high level of attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to multi-task across projects and activitiesMust be self-motivated and work with minimal directionAbility to read communicate understanding and follow written proceduresAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:Demonstrate proficiency in computerized systems such as Laboratory Information Management SystemAdditional Information : This position is Full-Time Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat 8am-6pm with overtime as needed.
