Entry Level Quality Production Specialist (Material Review/Investigation)Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Quality Production Specialist to join our Total Quality team located in Heath OH!Position Responsibilities:Observes validation of product non-conformances and disposition type quality procedures and engineering requirements.Learns Quality Management System requirements applicable company procedures contract requirements or government regulations.Gathers data and participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans products or processes.Gain knowledge of aerospace design systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.Learns the development modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action.Observes and seeks advice on obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.Assists in the validation of configuration management and learns quality procedures and material review policies.Performs internal replication of software to Company and regulatory standards and procedures.Participates in audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.Assists in the creation of basic reports and assists coordination with the responsible parties for internal and external distribution.Works under close supervision.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1 year of experience in an aerospace fabrication or manufacturing environment1 year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)Experience working in quality inspectionPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)Associates Degree or higherExperience in Quality AssuranceExperience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environmentExperience with regulatory requirementsExperience using strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience performing quantitative or statistical analysis data collection preparation and interpretationExperience and understanding of AS9100Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Travel:This position may require up to 10% travel.Shift:This position is for 1st shift.At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
