Job ID:111375The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.LocationOn-site at our Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence in Johnstown, PAJob ResponsibilitiesResponsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budgetFollow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)Properly use required PPEMay participate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams etcPerform entry-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, mechanical , harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from drawings, within ProductionPerform simple assemblies and hardware installation screws, washers, nuts and have basic understanding of build documentationPerform pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools and have the ability to interpret & assemble multiple units in dept Basic troubleshootingMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)Must be able to access production tools (routers, parts list, work instructions, etc) and be able to wire prep, auto bond, sleevingQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDTaking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
