Entry-Level Welder

What You'll Do

As an Entry-Level Welder, you'll help manufacture steel and aluminum components used in consumer and industrial products. This role is ideal for welders looking to strengthen their skills in a production setting while working with experienced teammates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum parts
  • Set up welding equipment and make basic adjustments
  • Change welding wire spools and tips as needed
  • Weld parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Perform visual inspections and take measurements to ensure quality
  • Grind excess weld material and remove burrs when required
  • Move materials and finished parts to designated areas
  • Track daily production (part numbers & quantities)
  • Report equipment issues and material shortages to supervisors

What We're Looking For

  • Entry-level to early-career MIG welding experience
  • Welding certificate required
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Familiarity with fabrication and flux core welding is a plus
  • Comfortable welding 1612 gauge steel

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Clean, well-lit manufacturing facility
  • Comfortable year-round (not temperature controlled)
  • Six production lines with a seventh being added
  • 2nd shift: MondayFriday, 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
  • Overtime: Mandatory 810 hours/week
    • Includes a 5-hour Saturday shift

This is a permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.

Health, vision, dental, & 401k

This is a fully onsite position in Crystal Lake, IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Apr 7, 2026.
