Equipment Coordinator at Southern States Toyota Lift

As an Equipment Coordinator with Southern States Material Handling, you will support the shop and branch by organizing materials and material-handling equipment, assisting with shipping and receiving, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized facility.

What You Need / Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Education and Certification Needed:
High school diploma required
12 years of Shipping & Receiving experience preferred
Forklift experience a plus
What Youll Do:
Load and unload trucks, including material-handling equipment, attachments, parts, and racking systems
Receive incoming shipments and distribute paperwork
File and organize Bills of Lading
Review packing slips to ensure all items are received; follow up on missing items
Match shipments to purchase orders in the system and notify appropriate departments
Inspect incoming shipments for damage and report issues; create damage claims and coordinate returns
Tag, label, and organize received inventory
Properly store stock and equipment orders
Unpack and distribute parts and packages to appropriate departments
Collaborate with procurement to track expected and overdue deliveries
Prepare and ship outgoing orders while maintaining accurate records
Assist with inventory control and tracking using iPads or tablets
Maintain accurate unit locations using designated tracking methods
Ensure chargers, batteries, and attachments remain charged and ready for use
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the shop, warehouse, and yard in accordance with ASEC standards
Greet and assist vendors entering the facility
Order and maintain adequate shipping supplies
Perform miscellaneous duties as needed to support branch operations
