Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Compensation $22.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates) Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Highlights Contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Schedule: 12:00am - 8:00am (3rd shift), Sunday - Thursday On-site role in Sumter, SC In-person interviews required Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns and equipment malfunctions Perform set-up, changeovers, optimization, and troubleshooting on production equipment Complete preventative maintenance (PMs) per the PM program to reduce downtime Maintain equipment to meet quality and production standards while minimizing waste Document downtime, repairs, and maintenance issues in equipment logs/logbooks Monitor in-process quality, perform required checks, and address issues to prevent holds Assist Maintenance/Engineering teams with major repairs as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Requirements High School Diploma / GED Mechanical troubleshooting experience (hands-on) Experience using tools such as feeler gauges and other tools to measure tolerances, torque, and clearances Familiarity with components/systems such as cams/cam-followers, conveyors, gear-boxes, chain drives, bushings, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, ball valves Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs Ability to maintain accurate written documentation (clear, legible logbook entries) Eye exam required contingent upon hire: must meet 20/30 vision (with or without corrective lenses) and/or pass a color vision exam Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Preferred Qualifications High-speed manufacturing maintenance experience Background in automotive mechanics (car/boat engines) or similar mechanical repair Exposure to HVAC, low-voltage electronics, and/or sensors Machinist background or blueprint-reading experience Team-oriented mindset and interest in continuous improvement If you think this Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
