  • Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Operate machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed; document findings and parts used for future reference.
  • Maintain shop stock of parts and supplies.
  • Determine when having a contractor complete a repair is more cost effective.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic or Service Technician.

  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals; familiarity with OEM standards.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons and other maintenance tools.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, regularly 25-50 pounds; comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members; treating co-workers, customers and vendors with respect.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required and do on-site repairs when necessary.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record; Class A CDL strongly recommended.
