Job DescriptionJob Description⭐ NOW HIRING: Equipment Mechanic – Full Time ⭐Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMPay: $22–$25 per hour (based on experience)About the Role:We are looking for a reliable and skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will perform mechanical duties and routine maintenance on Herc Rentals trucks and equipment, ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, a solid understanding of mechanical systems, and a commitment to quality work.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative and routine maintenance on trucks and rental equipmentDiagnose and repair issues involving engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel systemsComplete oil changes and lubrication of equipmentReplace tires, repair hoses, and install new batteriesMaintain accurate service records and ensure equipment is safe and ready for useTroubleshoot equipment concerns in a timely and professional mannerQualifications:Previous experience as a mechanic or equipment technician preferredStrong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesValid driver’s license; CDL is a plus but not requiredMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
