Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: Litman Excavating is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with proven experience in sewer line installation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in underground utility work, a strong safety record, and proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery including excavators, backhoes, and trenchers. Requirements:Operate heavy equipment to excavate, grade, and backfill trenches for sewer line installations.Safely and efficiently install new sewer systems, including manholes, piping, and fittings.Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and utility layouts.Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.Coordinate with ground crew to ensure proper line grades, slopes, and pipe placement.Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure job completion within deadlines.
