Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob#:        215642 - 66866-1Location:  LA - New Orleans, LAJob Title:  Equipment & Tool Engineer 3Pay Rate: $56.97 to $69.94Duration: (12 months)OnsiteBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience in tool engineering or design engineering  Tooling drawings  Modeling in a 3D environment 5 years' experience in tool engineering POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluates program and project requirements, develops complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System. Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates, identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling. Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements. Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares. Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel. Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation. Performs studies and make recommendation for disposition of assets. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience with software Catia and Creo REQUIRED EDUCATION:Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years'related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).  WORK HOURS:Full-Time/First Shift7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ADDITIONAL:This work assignment has been designated as "safety sensitive" by the Client.
