Equipment & Tool Engineer- Emergent Operations (Associate Mid-Level or Senior )Company:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Equipment & Tool Engineers in North Charleston SC.The selected candidate will join our Emergent Operations Team. Additionally the selected candidate will align with specific areas within our Equipment & Tool Engineering Function including Asset Engineering Integration and Systems Software and Controls Stress and Structural or Electrical Systems.Our Team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate Mid-Level or Senior Equipment & Tool Engineers. Primary Responsibilities: Designs analyzes and modifies aerospace manufacturing equipment and tooling that meet stakeholder requirements.Researches develops evaluates and integrates robotics automation and new technologies and processes related to equipment and tooling for applicability to programs and products.Teams with cross-functional subject matter experts to develop and review bids and procurement specifications.Estimates plans manages and executes the acquisition and modification of equipment and tooling.Develops and implements testing and acceptance to validate performance.Creates and maintains related documentation for equipment and tooling develops preventative maintenance plans and trains personnel as needed.Develops and implements interim solutions for damaged and unsafe equipment and tooling.Investigates engineering changes and controls equipment and tooling configuration in accordance with company procedures.Develops and recommends equipment reliability improvements through the application of reliability engineering tooling.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelors degree or higher in accredited course of study in engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical Aerospace Physics Mathematics).2 or more years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.1 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office and office computing systems.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience in Model Based Definition CATIA ENOVIA and PDM.Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience providing product definitions and technical support to groups suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay Range Summary: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
