As a CT Technologist youll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging for a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center while ensuring patient safety comfort and exceptional care. Key ResponsibilitiesVerify patient identity and exam details prior to scanningPrepare and position patients including those with limited mobility (using safe-handling practices)Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and ensure comfortInsert IVs when needed for imaging studiesCollaborate with physicians and clinical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic imagesDocument all imaging information in EPIC and ensure images are sent correctly to PACSMaintain a clean safe and fully operational scanning environment RequirementsGraduate of an accredited School of Radiologic TechnologyARRT Certification (CT)NYS Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before start date2 years CT experienceLevel I Trauma Center experienceBLS (American Heart Association only) Preferred QualificationsInjection certification (or willingness to complete during orientation)Experience with Philips or Siemens CT scannersEPIC EMR experience (highly desired) Soft SkillsStrong written and verbal communicationCompassionate and patient-focused demeanorTeam-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Employment Type : Contract Experience: years Vacancy: 1
