Job Description
DescriptionThe position is accountable for formulating sales goals and objectives as well as implementation strategies for growing profitable sales for a defined geography. This is accomplished through the direct management mentorship and coordination of ERS outside and inside sales resources. This position will be driving all ERS products for the electrical testing division and will be responsible for orders margin and team engagement.Responsible for Sales ManagementAdminister all phases of the sales management process to insure effective and timely customer service and response.Formulates communicates implements and evaluates strategies and tactical sales plans.Evaluates inside and outside sales performance.Provides coaching and developmental support to continuously improve capabilities of the sales team.Directly supervise the Sales Engineers for the Electrical Testing Services organization.Customer Relationship ManagementPartners with customers to plan strategies provide quality service train personnel and provide support as necessary for attainment of goals and objectives.Channel ManagementThe position is responsible for development and implementation of partnering strategies with LBPs (Local Business Partners) support and training of LBPs sales teams annual business planning and coordination of local marketing efforts.This position is also responsible for identifying key organizations and channels to market supporting Alternative Energy/Energy Storage and expanding ERS relationship with those groups to drive new Compliance program opportunities for these markets.Marketing SupportDefine markets works with market product management to identify market potential and appropriate sales strategies for Western RegionImplementation of national/state/local marketing programs as necessary.Provide evaluations as requested of new service programs marketing research and literature development.Senior ManagementAs a member of the senior management team communicates effectively with the operations teams to drive customer satisfaction and growth.Participate in quarterly meetings planning and special projects benefiting the commercial organization.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesRoles include Iside Sales Engineer Sales Engineers of varying levels and Business Development Manager. This includes but is not limited to:NERCNFPA 790 and 791Regularly required to sit stand walk use hands and fingers talk and hear. Required to sit and work at computer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
