ESP supporting special education students in grades 4 and 5 at Hatfield Public Schools

A Paraprofessional ESP or Teaching Assistant is responsible for providing hands on support to a Teacher when implementing lessons or supporting instruction based on IEP needs of students in a classroom setting. This includes working with small groups of students with and without disabilities and at times offering individual assistance to students in the school. ESPs may assist in helping with behavior management during lessons tracking a students behavior and setting up classroom materials before and during and Qualifications:Good written and verbal communicationAssist teachers in classroom management and to work individually and in small groups with childrenKnowledge of classroom to read and understand instructions correspondence and to operate computers and tablets.
