ESS Daytime Waiver Instructional Assistant (2025-2026) Overdale Elementary at Bullitt County Schools

This position is paid from ESS allocations so it is funded for the 2025-2026school year only.NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: To expedite the hiring for this position the hiring supervisor may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services.Assist a certificated teacher with providing instruction to individual or small groups; monitor and report student progress.Thisposition is for3 hours per dayand40student instructional days.Contracted days will be adjusted depending upon start date.Position is part-time and not eligible for benefits unless combined with another position.-Proficient in leading small-group reading interventions-Organized in order to ensure proper monitoring and reporting of student progress-Positive and collaborative attitude-Demonstrates strong work ethic including attendance and punctuality-Cooperative-Patient-FlexibleMust have 64 college credit hours and a 2.5 GPA and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable full-time verified experience.(NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)Step 0: $15.98 per hourStep 10: $19.67 per hourAlthough Classified positions are paid at an hourly rate salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks.
