Job Description

Our client is a fully integrated environmental construction firm that delivers turnkey, self-perform solutions addressing complex environmental challenges across soil, vapor, air, and water systems, including groundwater, stormwater, and water/wastewater treatment.Primary Responsibilities Include:Hold daily tailgate meetings. All crew will attend and participate in the tailgate, as well as be ready for work in the proper PPE. At the tailgate, site hazards and key Safe Behaviors will be discussed, and a visual PPE inspection will be conducted.Daily Permit to Work/AHA: Discuss with the entire crew the day's activities and hazards associated with each task.Review & assign all daily individual field task assignmentsEnsure equipment and tool inspections are conducted daily, to ensure equipment and tools are in good order, at all times.Maintain accurate daily notes and field logs (in Site Docs).Responsible for coordinating and scheduling required subcontractors for each projectResponsible for determining materials needed and timing of delivery to perform workResponsible for performing daily reporting of labor, equipment, and material utilization, along with daily production (essential for tracking daily job costs).Review the approved budget against actual job costs and production factors with the Project Manager.Responsible for knowing the scope of work and identifying change order conditionsPerform H&S-reIated activities.All other duties as assigned by Management that are project/company related.Qualifications:Experience in supervising construction projectsAbility to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessaryAbility to read and understand Plans, Specifications, schematics, and other construction documentsAbility to check grade and verify elevations using a laserUnderstanding proper safety procedures and recognition of hazardsMust be capable of managing multiple tasks under time constraintsMust be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends.General MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) assessment knowledge.General knowledge and experience with operating and troubleshooting heavy equipmentPreferred:High School Diploma or bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field desirable5+ years of experience in construction or environmental work40-hr HAZWOPER, 30-hr OSHA, 10-hr OSHA, CPR
