Location: This is a hybrid role based in Lisle, IL, with the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team while maintaining some flexibility.

Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of estate planning experience, including hands-on drafting experience with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents.

Job Description

  • Draft wills, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
  • Advise clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, and trust administration matters
  • Work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on personalized planning strategies
  • Assist with trust administration, estate settlement, and related post-death administration matters
  • Coordinate with corporate and tax attorneys on integrated planning for business owners and complex client situations
  • Manage deadlines, client communication, and a steady volume of sophisticated estate planning work
  • Build trusted client relationships through responsiveness, attention to detail, and practical guidance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of estate planning experience
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
  • Ability to manage multiple client matters efficiently and accurately
  • Excellent communication, responsiveness, and client service skills
  • Experience with WealthCounsel, WealthDocs, irrevocable trusts, or tax planning strategies is preferred
