Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level)Company:The Boeing CompanyThe F/A-18 & Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Boeing Captains Of Industry (BCOI) Estimating & Pricing team is seeking an Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our team in Hazelwood MO. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 2 and Level 3 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.This specialist will be responsible for the development of labor and/or material estimates and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment will primarily support the DLA BCOI platform but could also provide support to the F/A-18 Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) or Boeing Global Services (BGS) proposal teams and a variety of internal and external customers.Position Responsibilities:Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design build and aftermarket support stages of the programDevelops prepares and validates estimates and pricesEvaluates requests for proposals substantiates estimates/pricing and assembles price proposalsDevelops estimating and pricing methodsPerforms analysis and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk financial competitive etc.)Develops and maintains pricing modelsDevelops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposalsPerforms compliance activities including providing compliant cost volumesBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):1 years of experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations Cost Management Accounting Estimating Financial Planning Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements / U.S. Government contractsExperience performing parametric estimates and data analysisPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Experience with critical thinking problem solving negotiation communication and interpersonal skillsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits: At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
