Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEstimator Electrical EstimatorWe are a leading electrical contractor based in the Kansas City area and are currently hiring for an experience estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have electrical estimating and design build experience. Position OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our construction team. The primary objective of this role is to accurately estimate the costs and resources required for electrical projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects based on designs and specifications.Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for estimating purposes.Maintain accurate records of all estimates, including calculations, assumptions, and sources of information.Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.Provide support during the bidding process and participate in bid presentations as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Proven experience as an estimator in the electrical or construction industry.Strong understanding of electrical systems, design build processes, and construction methodologies.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost estimation.Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
