Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEstimator EstimatorPosition Overview The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project costs, preparing detailed project estimates, and providing key insights that inform budget decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids while minimizing risk and maximizing value for the company.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze project documents, specifications, and blueprints to prepare accurate estimatesConduct cost analysis to determine the financial feasibility of projectsCollaborate with project managers to develop budgets and schedulesPerform risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and project challengesPrepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material lists for projectsNegotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and subcontractorsMaintain thorough documentation of all estimates and changes throughout the project lifecycleQualificationsProven experience as an Estimator in the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction cost analysis and budgetingExcellent skills in construction estimating and risk assessmentProficiency in reading blueprints and specificationsExperience with quantity takeoff and negotiationFamiliarity with project management principles and scheduling techniquesBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancesLife and other voluntary insurances401(k) Retirement Plan (with possible company match)Paid Time Off and HolidaysMerit Shop ContractorContinuous Training CoursesCar allowance, Gas and Milage reimbursement  - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
