This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical and analytical skills to contribute to high-quality, in-house fabrication and installation projects.Estimator – Lead Estimating in a Growing Construction & HVAC CompanySchedule: Days | Pay Rate: $60K & UpJoin a respected construction and HVAC company in the Tidewater area and take the lead on estimating projects in a collaborative, goal-focused environment. This is your chance to make an impact by driving accurate, efficient, and high-quality estimates for projects that are largely produced in-house.What You’ll Do:Lead estimating efforts from start to finish, analyzing blueprints, technical documents, and specifications.Prepare detailed budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.Collaborate closely with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates align with project objectives.Handle multiple estimates simultaneously, making critical decisions under bid deadlines.Maintain precise records of estimates, assumptions, and supporting documentation.What We’re Looking For:Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in construction, HVAC, or a similar field.Proficient in blueprints, CAD, cost estimation software, and Microsoft Office; Timberline experience preferred.Hands-on experience with fabrication and installation projects from start to finish (we are not looking for glass estimators).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.A team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Why You’ll Love This Role:Opportunity to lead and grow within a trusted, well-respected company.Work on a variety of challenging projects that keep each day interesting.Be part of a team that values your expertise, input, and success.PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
