Ethernet Product Manager

Intel's Networking Solutions Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ethernet Product Manager to lead the definition and development of software requirements for Ethernet controllers and adapters. This role requires a strong technical background, market insight, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Collect and refine customer feature requirements for Ethernet products in partnership with customer enablement team and software architects
  • Document detailed product requirements and specifications in collaboration with engineering, marketing, and sales teams
  • Define the product life cycle plans for shipping products by partnering customer enablement teams and engineering
  • Engage with OS vendors to align driver availability with OS timelines
  • Update product pricing strategies; develop and understand cost models; own long-term revenue forecasts
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify Ethernet industry trends; Provide actionable feedback to influence product strategy and execution to enable competitive differentiation
  • Create and present customer-facing software collaterals with compelling stories to drive Intel Ethernet adoption
  • Represent Intel at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote Intel Ethernet products and solutions

As Ethernet Product Manager, you should possess the behavioral attributes below:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to align customer requirements with Ethernet product roadmaps

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and/or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in datacenters, servers, or Ethernet Networking
  • Experience Collecting and refining customer feature requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects; Technical acumen to engage with engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or in a STEM related field
  • Experience in networking protocols and data center system architectures
  • Experience with Cloud, Telco and Enterprise data center deployments with a focus on networking solutions
  • Experience with ASIC/SoC development cycles and vendor management
  • Examples of marketing collateral articulating the value proposition of the product

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $137,610.00-227,270.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
