No day will look the same but responsibilities will include performing original equipment manufacturer-approved testing repairs and troubleshooting customer issues. Highland will provide the relevant training to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers and communications equipment.Key Responsibilities: Act as the companys on-site advocate for EVs and EVSBs striving to achieve 90% overall uptimeRepresent the company at customer locations with the highest standards of professional conductRetains a clean and safe work environment and brings any unsafe practices or conditions to managementDiagnoses malfunctions and performs electric vehicle and charger repairs (e.g. adjust/test steering electrical cooling lubricating braking systems drive trains suspensions power steering units etc.) and related assigned duties within qualification level in accordance with all relevant Federal State/Provincial and local guidelines and requirements. Test-drives vehicles to ensure repair resolvedMaintain detailed and timely documentation for troubleshooting and repairs records time and materials used for each assignment in asset management platformAssist in managing of external support vendors to follow up and document repairs being made to Highlands assetsProvides repair and maintenance assistance to junior technician staffPerforms road calls and on the road repairs as assigned.Undergo electric vehicle and charger OEM and internal trainingsDesired Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years Electrician Electric Vehicle or Medium/Heavy duty truck Fleet repair experienceAdvanced Diagnostic Electrical and AC skills requiredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsKnowledge of MS Suite productsPossess the recommended tools for a Medium Duty technician as well as electrical diagnostics toolingFlexibility to work bus depot hours (early morning to afternoon) and weekends (when on scheduled shift)Clean Driving Record is requiredRequirements within 12 months of employment: Commercial Drivers License Required / Minimum 3 ASE certifications required (bonus compensation available if greater) / and Minimum of 4 OEM Certifications required (bonus compensation available if greater)$75000 - $95000 a yearHighland Electric Fleets provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race color religion sex national origin age disability or addition to federal law requirements Highland Electric Fleets complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment.
