Our Giveback Committee, Social Committee, and Cultural Ambassadors keep our teams supported, engaged, and inspired.Competitive Compensation:Fair pay through scheduled salary assessments and a performance-based bonus program.Excellent Benefits:Comprehensive, subsidized health, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, and life & AD&D coverage.Growth & Development:Access to our internal university, leadership development programAbout the Role: Reporting to the Client Care Manager, the Evening Customs Import Specialist is responsible for processing shipment releases for our clients accurately and efficiently during evening hours, while delivering outstanding service.What Youll Do:Monitor assigned entry folders and prioritize shipments by ETA for timely submission to customsProcess entries for ocean, air, truck, and rail shipmentsHandle in-bonds, AES filings, prior notices, manifests, and ISF submissionsReview documentation to ensure complete entry packages before processingCommunicate internally and externally with carriers, vendors, and clients via phone and emailMonitor entry dashboards and escalate moment of truth issues to the Production ManagerPerform other duties as requiredWho You Are:Ability to represent GHY professionally and collaborate effectivelyStrong prioritization skills in a fast-paced, changing environmentSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyExceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Outlook, Word, and ExcelExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to meet tight deadlinesWhat Youll Bring:Completion of Grade 12 EducationPrior Brokerage Services/Logistics Experience PreferredWorking Conditions:Sitting at desk, 95%Standing at counter/machine, 5%Position Classification:Associate Level II/III: Wage dependent upon experience. PREMIUM pay offered for Evening Shift.LOCATION:In or Around the Surrounding Areas of Pembina, ND OR Columbia, SCHOURS OF WORK:4:00 pm12:30 am EST / 3:00 pm11:30 pm CST or LaterTwo Stat Holidays may be required to be worked annuallyParticipation in the afterhours/on-call rotation will be requiredWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
