Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor. Registered Nurse (RN) or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required. The right candidate will supervise our nursing staff on our short-term and long-term care units.

Requirements for Nursing Supervisor:

  • Must possess valid unencumbered, LPN or RN State License and current CPR certification

  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

  • Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center or other related healthcare setting preferred. Must have minimum of one year experience in long term care

  • Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, and computer skills

  • Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred

  • Weekend on-call rotation - generally once every 5 weeks

     

Job Duties for Nursing Supervisor:

  • Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges

  • Supervise nurses and CNAs

  • Manage staffing changes

  • Support family inquiries and screen visitors

  • Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions

  • Ensure high quality resident/patient care

  • Provide support to ancillary staff as needed
