Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $20 an hourThe ideal candidate will be detail oriented, driven, and flexible. Must be motivated to provide the highest level of quality work. The position requires availability to work some weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts). There are weekday shifts available that can be scheduled but weekend availability is required.Hub 757 hosts a variety of events such as weddings, business meetings and seminars, social gatherings, trade shows, etc. and is also home to a full-time day school as well as a nondenominational church. Custodian and Crew Members will be responsible for cleaning during or after daily and weekly functions. Cleaning services are required following each of the school, church, and event center events. This is a part time position that requires you to be knowledgeable in custodial services as well as the use and application of chemicals such as disinfectants, sanitizers, and other solutions. This position will also aid in setting up tables and chairs before events and taking them down after events.Job Duties & Tasks:Follow directions issued by Lead CustodianResponsible for sweeping and mopping floorsVacuums carpeting; removes spots and stainsSanitizes restrooms as well as replaces toilet paper, paper towels, and soapWash and polish bathroom fixturesSanitizing all additional surfacesTransport and empty trash cans into outdoor unit then sanitize trash cansSet up and take down tables and chairs in event spaces following a set up plan from the Lead CustodianJob Requirements:Must be available to work weekends, late hours and midafternoons on SundaysConsistent punctuality and attendanceMaintain equipment and materials used throughout the shiftLock and unlock doors, activate the alarm systemMust be able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and professional mannerMust be able to work independently without direct supervisionRegularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stand, and lift at least 50 poundsBackground check required
