As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces. Your attention to detail and commitment to infection prevention will be essential in this role. Your work will directly impact the health and well-being of our patients and staff.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent- preferred Ability to read and follow written instructionsAbility to lift and move heavy objectsExperience in environmental services or related field preferredPreferred Qualifications:Certification in environmental services or related fieldExperience working in a healthcare settingKnowledge of infection prevention and control practicesResponsibilities:Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces according to established proceduresDispose of waste and hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirementsMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentReport any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnelAdhere to infection prevention and control policies and proceduresSkills:In this role, you will utilize your skills in cleaning and sanitation, attention to detail, time management, communication, and teamwork. You will work closely with other members of the environmental services team, as well as clinical staff, to ensure a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff. Your ability to follow established procedures and protocols, as well as your flexibility and adaptability, will be key to your success in this role.
