Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition:This full time position is primary to first shift; however, this individual will be scheduled on alternate shifts to meet the needs of the department. Weekend and Holiday rotation will occur. This position reports to the Senior Director of Support Services. Qualifications:Previous Environmental Services experience desired Previous hospital cleaning experience desiredPhysically able to climb ladders Lift, push, pull and carry a weight of up to 50 lbs. Able to stand, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, and crawl Responsibilities: Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including washing walls, windows, doors, ceilings, fixtures, furniture, shelves, mopping floors, and vacuuming carpets Change cubicle curtains and drapesFollow written and verbal instructionMaintain service cart supplies and equipment.Maintains a positive attitude towards staff, guests, patients and visitorsDemonstrates attention to detail and thoroughnessFollow and adhere to standard policies and proceduresWork unsupervisedMaintain a professional manner at all timesSuccessful completion of the orientation process
