Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas.The Role: EVS - UtilityResponsibilities: Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.Cleans floors (vacuum, mop, shampoo); spot cleaning as necessaryMonitors ash/trash containers, cleaning and removing trash as necessaryCleans ashtraysCleans glass surfacesCleans restroomsCleans slot bases/machines; pushes in slot chairsGreets 7 interacts with guests when appropriateUses cleaning chemicals as instructedUses safety equipment as requiredCommunicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.Executes daily cleaning projects.Collects/secures lost-and-found articles.Restocks storage closets daily.Trains new employees as needed.Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all Dover Downs employees to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.Represents Bally's Hotel and Casino in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.Control inventory of supplies.Maintains knowledge of the property.Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, as well as reducing costs.Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.Follows all relevant policies and procedures.Complies with the company's recycling program standards.Provides exceptional customer service ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.Must be able to understand and communicate in English and possess good communication skills.Must be friendly and cooperative.Must be able to work independently.Must be reliable and have initiative.Good judgement and common sense.Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire.
