Key Responsibilities MUST be a top-tier heavy machinery operator that can lead! CDL Preferred. Lead and coordinate daily field operations across active excavation projects Supervise crews, equipment usage, and jobsite productivity Plan and sequence work to meet schedules and deadlines Act as the primary field point of contact with ownership Maintain safety awareness and jobsite discipline Solve problems in real time - utilities, access, weather, production issues Ensure work is completed correctly, efficiently, and professionally This role may involve occasional hands-on work depending on project needs. What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months) Jobs run smoothly with clear daily plans Crews know expectations and trust leadership Fewer surprises, fewer reworks Owner confidence in field execution Foundation set for controlled growth Ideal Background Experience as an Excavation Superintendent, Working Superintendent, or Senior Foreman Strong background in CIVIL excavation, sitework, grading, trenching, or utilities Comfortable leading small crews and making day-to-day field decisions Local to Longview / SW Washington (or already established in the area) Self-directed, accountable, and hands-on by nature This is not a desk-heavy PM role.
