Primary responsibility will be in the area of Student Assistant/Work Study/GA/TA payroll team, as well as working the reception area.Duties include:Greeting, assisting and providing excellent customer service to current and prospective employees of Binghamton UniversityIntake of onboarding paperwork and documentationWorking with confidential personnel dataAssist the Associate Director of Human Resources with a variety of employment/payroll processing dutiesProcessing and data entry of appointment data into various systemsLearning multiple, distinct facets of employment within the New York state systemDelivering presentations on a variety of Human Resources topicsTroubleshoot employment and payroll issues and concernsQuerying and running data reportsVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.
