As the leader and spokesperson youll empower a dedicated team while championing the mission externally through fundraising advocacy and collaborative initiatives within community.We welcome passionate leaders from diverse professional backgrounds who are naturally outward-facing proactive in seeking opportunities and energized by connecting with people and organizations that share our values.* This position does not offer benefits at this time.*Executive Director Tasks:Serve as the organizations primary leader representative and spokesperson to the greater communityStrategize short-range and long-range program and project goals with emphasis on organizational growthLead community engagement initiatives and proactively build partnerships with stakeholdersChampion storytelling efforts to enhance organizational visibility and supportDrive strategic planning for program expansion and organizational rebranding effortsIdentify overall resource development goals and lead fundraising planning effortsEstablish maintain and cultivate relationships with donors foundations and other funding sourcesSupport organizational programs and activities through diversified revenue streamsOversee grant writing initiatives in collaboration with grant writing staffMaintain accountability for the annual operating budget and financial performanceParticipate in recruitment interview selection and evaluation processes for directly supervised staff and key positionsManage day-to-day activities of paid staffEmpower and train staff to handle daily operations with autonomy and ownershipEnsure adequate cross-training of staff to provide backup capability for all positionsMonitor financial performance and ensure fiscal responsibilityWork with bookkeeping and accounting partnersOversee financial audits and compliance requirementsPrepare comprehensive executive reports for the Board of Directors and Executive CommitteeAssist with recruitment and orientation of new Board membersAttend various Committee meetings as requiredMaintain strong collaborative relationships with Board leadershipExecutive Director Qualifications:Bachelors degreePrevious executive leadership or nonprofit management experience is a plusGrant writing and grant management experienceKnowledge of senior services social services or healthcare delivery systemsFamiliarity with Medicaid programs and waiversExperience managing volunteers and volunteer programsDemonstrated leadership experience with strong interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to build relationships engage community partners and represent an organization externallyExperience in fundraising donor relations and resource developmentBudget management and financial oversight capabilitiesStrong organizational and strategic planning skillsAbility to delegate effectively and empower team membersProactive in natureComfortable with public speaking and community engagementAbility to balance strategic leadership with operational oversightPassion for the mission of serving vulnerable community membersExecutive Director Compensation:Salary: $65000 - $75000Flexible vacation timeMajor holidays offNo Benefits Package at this timeOnly Reviewing Commutable Candidates at this time.Homebound Meals Inc. is a vital community organization dedicated to serving seniors shut-ins low-income etc. individuals through our meal delivery programs.
