Executive Fleet Quality Control InspectorCompany:Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense & Security (BDS) has exciting opportunities for VC-25A Quality Inspectors to join our Quality team specializing with Executive Fleet aircrafts located in San Antonio Texas!This position will support Quality inspection processes with successful candidates having current or previous A&P license experience working in electrical avionics and/or performing interior work on VIP aircraft. This position supports production of multiple shifts therefore employees must be willing to work any shift assigned based on business conditions.Position Responsibilities:Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements. Provides objective evidence of results. Performs auditing surveillance and monitoring.Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification. Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.Implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position. BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3 years of Quality Inspection and/or auditing experience3 years of experience performing product or process inspections3 years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience using Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and WordAnalytical and problem-solving experience to identify critical activities and tasks within work groupsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with large aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) inspectionsExperience installing aircraft modifications to include fabricating and installing aircraft electrical system wiring connectors electrical components or avionics boxesFAA- Airframe and Powerplant License or experience to obtain Repairmans CertificateExperience in Aerospace Manufacturing Quality or experience in a regulated industryExperience with Boeing 7XX airplane and/or Military aircraftExperience with Executive Fleet aircraftDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:Must be willing to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime.
