Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Metro Physical Therapy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Exercise Class Instructor to lead group fitness sessions at our partnered Assisted Living Facilities and outpatient clinics. This role is ideal for someone with a positive, energetic personality who enjoys working closely with seniors to promote health, wellness, and independence.Schedule:Glen Cove – Mondays, 9:30–10:30am Roslyn – Tuesdays & Fridays, 10–11am Jericho – Wednesdays, 10:30–11:30amGarden City – Thursdays, 11–11:45am Pay Rate: Up to $40/hourJob Type: 1099 Independent ContractorWhat You’ll Do!Lead safe, engaging, and educational fitness classes tailored to active older adults. Motivate and encourage participants while fostering a fun, supportive environment. Adapt exercises to accommodate varying levels of ability and mobility. Support facility wellness programs and participate in specialty classes as needed. Maintain a clean and safe workout space, following all rules and safety procedures.Requirements: Fitness or Personal Training Certification required. Current CPR, AED, and Liability Insurance. Valid NYS Driver’s License. Prior experience teaching group exercise or fitness classes. Strong communication and motivational skills, with a passion for working with seniors.
