Our story is one of resiliency and innovation that has led us to grow to over 500 employees in a booming transportation industry that never takes a night off.What We Are Looking For:As a team we are looking for driven people who have GRIT TENACITY & A DESIRE TO WIN!Duties/Responsibilities:Bid and book Expedite customer loadsCall and book carriers to cover Expedite customer loadsContact Carriers and ensure they deliver time sensitive freight on timeMatch customer demand with quotes for their freight-related inquiriesBuild strategies that will result in increased sales and stronger partnershipsEnter new load orders into our proprietary web-based softwareEnsure all details of shipments are properly notated in each loadCommunicate daily with shippers and receivers to schedule pick up and delivery appointmentsMaintain and collect proper paperwork for each shipmentResolve billing discrepancies with a customer or internal billing teamInitiate check calls to track and trace drivers on all pickups and deliveriesAssist with converting drivers to MacroPoint trackingManage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movementEscalate freight-related issues to the appropriate teamsSkills/Abilities:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitaskSuperb time management and organizational skillsExtraordinary attention to detail and teamwork skillsExcellent problem-solving and time management skillsWillingness to be available after hours and weekends if neededEducation and Experience:Call center experience preferredFreight brokerage experience is a bonusExperience in an office setting with proficiency in various aspects of customer serviceBenefits:40 hours per week5:00 PM - 2:00 AMOn-site training and career developmentPaid holidays and paid time offInsurance benefits including but not limited to: health vision dental life and disability401(k) PlanWhats stopping you Step into the fast lane and apply today!
