Title: Workplace Experience CoordinatorLocation: Detroit, MI (Onsite, 5 days a week)Duration: 12/15/2025 1/16/2026 (Site closed 12/25 1/1)Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Work Environment / Client Notes Parking validation provided Downtown building location Team Overview Part of a collaborative onsite team Position sits at the reception desk on the floor Position SummaryThe Workplace Experience Coordinator delivers a world-class customer service experience to employees and visitors within a designated building. This role is part of the Workplace Experience team, supporting daily operations, reception services, and workplace coordination. Typical Day Responsibilities Manage reception desk operations Validate parking for employees and guests Handle inquiries and direct individuals appropriately Manage the check-in process for visitors Assist with light shipping and receiving tasks Communicate regularly with the security team Must-Have Skills Strong customer service skills Experience as the main point of contact at a reception desk Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently Strong communication skills, including coordination with security Nice-to-Have Skills Experience working in a tech company environment Required Experience A few years of related experience Prior receptionist experience in a professional or corporate setting Software Skills Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage email and spreadsheets efficiently Interview Process Two steps: virtual interview followed by onsite interview What You ll Do Serve as the first point of contact, greeting all employees and visitors Issue visitor and parking passes and follow all security procedures Answer phones professionally and assist with presentations or group communications Coordinate recreational, dining, and business activity reservations Manage janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed Support workplace services including mail, office supply coordination, and onboarding activities Respond to inquiries or complaints and provide effective customer service solutions Organize and manage on-site events, including space reservation, setup, teardown, and supply coordination Follow all property-specific security and emergency procedures and notify appropriate parties Coordinate with workplace vendors and service providers Communicate detailed or complex information within the team and follow managerial direction Use established procedures to solve routine problems with limited discretion What You ll Need High School Diploma or GED Up to 2 years of relevant work experience Ability to follow standard work routines and processes Strong communication skills for sharing clear, straightforward information Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindsetMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
