Core Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Calibrate, thread, and adjust automated coiling machines and auxiliary equipment (like wire straighteners or auto-strappers) based on blueprint or work order specifications.
• Quality Control: Measure coiled products using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify diameter, tension, and shape tolerances.
• Production Oversight: Monitor the machine during operation to ensure a steady feed of raw material, clear jams, and prevent defects.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and clean the work zone to maintain safety standards.
• Documentation: Log production run data, material usage, and any equipment downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of experience operating or setting up automated manufacturing machinery (e.g., CNC, spring coiler, or wire winder).
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, working knowledge of PLCs or CNC programs, and experience with measuring tools.
• Physical & Soft Skills: Ability to stand for long periods, strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and high attention to detail
